5 days till Saturday and a big day for our close friends Scott and Christa. Somehow after a seemingly endless 12 year courtship, Scott Elhenicky, decides that the "test drive" has been long enough and decides to make the commitment. Now I am proud of my Man, but as usual, you always have to have a moment of silence as we lose yet another good man to the grappling tentacles of our social convention known as marriage. So as I am the best man, I have been trusted in preparing for The Speech. Wish me luck! Becky is also in the wedding and I am looking forward for our first day in 7 years that we can get away just the two of us for a day and a half....don't worry...one of us is fixed and nothing can happen!!!

A couple of updates in a month...something must be up. Well no...not really, just thought I would share a few more thoughts. I have some sad news to report, but before I do, I want to quickly wish a very very merry happy birthday to Caden who turns 7 and to my Momma, whom I love and would litereally not be here without her. We wish them the best birthday ever tomorrow. So Caden has started school yesterday and I must say I am impressed with this guy. He actually gets excited about going to school, I am sure it will ware off sooner or later, but until then I am very proud of my son. Ok so whats the sad news...well as you may or may not know, I am in the real estate and mortgage business and with the gloom and doom news about the industry it has been a challenging year to say the least. Therefore, a couple of days ago, I had to do, what I had to do and unfortunately my wife's "Creme" had to be replaced with something a little more affordable. It brought a tear to her eyes as it was taken away, but I told her I'd get it back. For those of you who don't know what the "Creme" is its her beloved 2005 Honda Odyssey Touring w/ Navigation. Yup, we said buy to it after 2 memorable years with it. Tough loss, but we will survive! So make sure if you get the chance to send her a shout out and lift her spirits. Thats it for now...and dont' forget to check out the daily pic...look at what happens when you leave the kids with the husband!!!

Summer of 2007
Wow...not sure where to begin. Its been a while since I have updated. Ok so here is what has been happening with us over the last 8 months. We have been so busy with family, friends and work. In June we were in California visiting. We had a blast. I got to meet my brother and sister's finacees. Yes they are finally both engaged. I did warn their would be spouses, but I don't think they thought to much about what I had to say. I guess some people need to just learn the hard way. Anyways we are very happy and thrilled for them both. During our stay we went to the lake where we got a change to ride Susie & Hao's wave runner and spend time with them, it was a lot of fun. I got a chance to see some of my old college buddies and again it was great to see them. Well when we came back and about 2 weeks later Susie & Hao joined us and once again we were together enjoying the summer going to race tracks, playing some golf, drinking some beers and overall just having a great time. We are hoping to join up on a new business venture and get them to move out. Wish us luck!!!
Caden will turn 7 at the end of August. I can't believe my son will be 7 already. Where does time go? Davin and Kieya will be 3 and 2 in Novemeber. Unbelievable. All 3 are doing very well growing and pretty much driving Becky and myself nuts. Patience...Patience...thats what I keep telling myself...Its ok to lie to yourself once in a while right?
At the moment that seems to be all there is to report. We are looking forward to the remainder of this summer it has been a very good summer. Oh, one more thing, Becky has now gotten a job at Starbucks! So I get the enjoy a some good coffee for however that last!!! LOL...and I am now part of Lifetime Financial Partners. Still doing real estate and mortgages...so don't forget...if you know anyone that is buying, selling or financing...give them my number! Till next time.

Merry Christmas Everybody!!! We just finished having our Christmas get together. This year we had the privilege of hosting and Cousin's Lee, Laurie, Sara, & Lisa Richardson, along with great friends and newly wed's Amy & Chris McCown joined us. We had a blast. Becky made the most delicious meal, it truly was a special day. We hope that all of you had a great day and remember, that this day is about giving and how we received the most precious of all gifts on this day.

We are back from Children's Memorial Hospital in Westchester. Today was Caden's day to have his tonsills and adenoids removed. We arrived at the hospital at about 9:07am. By 10:20am he was in and the procedure lasted about 35 minutes. We are glad to say that it went perfect. As I write this its 5:08pm, we are at home and Caden is doing great. As if nothing has happened today.
On a another note Davin is donig good, finally used to his cast and getting used to using his left hand. Kieya is also doing fantastic. She looking pretty as ever. Ok, thats it so far. Thank you for your prayers and thoughts.

Today has been a good day. I have been up since 5:30am. The family is also doing good and again Davin is now moving his fingers more and sleeping better through the night. I have added a few more pages and made some changes to the site. Also, I am very excited to say that TheCastillos.com Blog will soon be up and operational, so be sure to check back soon for that. In the mean time enjoy some more pictures and what not.

Well, I have finally began to work on the site. I hope that you all enjoy it. Hopefully this new design will make it easier for us to keep it updated more often. For now enjoy a few pictures of the kids. By the way, Davin is doing great. He is much better and apparently not in much pain. Thank you for you thoughts and prayers.
