A year later...08/2007 FYI...it has been 1 year since the Rockwall Incident. We are pleased to report that as far as we can tell Davin has healed well. It was a trying time, but we made it. We are just not sure if he is going to be a Lefty or Righty.

Little Guy Tumbles!!! Parental Negligence? Investigation underway.... On August 5th, 2006 at approximately 8:20pm Davin R. Castillo aka The Little Guy sustained a minor set back. He fractured both his radius and ulna during a routine rock wall climbing expedition. He was attempting to scale the five and half foot ascent without parental supervision, a first we might add, when his grip and balance unexpectedly gave way at the summit. He was shaken and a bit disorientated. Help arrived at the scene immediately where he was rushed to Rush Copley Medical Center in Aurora. We expect full recovery, but he will be sidelined for approximately 6 weeks. More on this story as the situation unfolds....stay tuned.    Above you can see the fracture about one to one and half inches from the tips of the bones. The break was classified as "clean". Those other fingers holding his little hand are of his fathers.
